Wheel Loader ECU Tuning

Wheel loaders work hard in quarry faces, aggregate yards, and material handling operations — full load, continuous cycle, all shift. The factory ECU map is calibrated for durability across all conditions and markets, not for the productivity demands of a high-utilisation operation.

A wheel loader remap optimises fuelling and boost for the actual loading cycle — more torque at low engine speed for digging into the pile, cleaner power delivery through the lift arc, and better fuel efficiency at cruise between loading and tipping points.

We work with all major wheel loader manufacturers from compact loaders up to the largest 950-990 class machines, and can address Adblue and DPF issues at the same site visit.

Benefits

Why Choose This Service

More Breakout Force

Better low-speed torque delivery means the bucket breaks into the pile harder and fills faster. High-utilisation quarry loaders and aggregate handlers see the most significant improvement in cycle productivity.

Higher Lift Capacity

Increased torque through the hydraulic circuit means the lift arm carries heavier loads more confidently. In operations running near rated tip capacity, this headroom has direct productivity value.

Fuel Savings on Loading Cycles

Wheel loaders burn serious diesel on continuous loading cycles. An 8–12% efficiency gain from better combustion calibration reduces fuel cost per tonne moved — significant on high-utilisation operations.

Smoother Transmission Response

Improved throttle calibration produces smoother kickdown and direction change — less shock load on the transmission and tyres, and more controlled loading for the operator.

Common Questions

What size wheel loaders do you cover?

From compact wheel loaders at 2–3 tonnes operating weight through to the largest 30+ tonne machines. Cat 950–990, Volvo L60–L350, Komatsu WA200–WA800 — all within our capability.

Will a remap improve my loader's fuel economy at the weighbridge?

Fuel savings of 8–12% are typical in standard loading cycles. We'll give you a realistic projection for your specific model and duty cycle before the visit.

Can you fix Adblue faults on wheel loaders?

Yes. Adblue (SCR) faults are common on loaders over 5–8 years old and can be addressed at the same site visit as the remap.

How long does a wheel loader remap take on site?

2–4 hours for a standard remap. Combined with emissions fault resolution the visit may run to 4–6 hours depending on the machine.

Do you offer fleet pricing for multiple loaders on the same site?

Yes. Multiple machines from the same site visit attract fleet pricing. Tell us the number of machines and models when you enquire.
