Motor Grader ECU Tuning
Motor graders work across road construction, site levelling, and winter maintenance — precise, continuous blade work that demands consistent engine power across a full shift. The factory ECU calibration is conservative, particularly on older machines where factory maps have not been updated for modern fuel quality.
A motor grader remap improves blade torque for heavy levelling work, scarifier performance in hard ground, and fuel efficiency across continuous grading passes. The improvement in blade torque is most noticeable when grading hard material or working the scarifier in compacted ground.
We cover the full motor grader range from small site graders to the largest production graders, attending on-site across the UK.

Benefits
Why Choose This Service
More Blade Torque
Better low-speed torque delivery means the blade pushes harder in heavy material, maintains grade through tough sections, and handles transitions between cut and fill without bogging.
Better Scarifier Performance
Scarifier and ripper teeth in hard compacted ground demand maximum engine torque at low speed. A remap delivers the torque the scarifier needs to penetrate efficiently.
Fuel Savings on Long Contracts
Motor graders on road construction and site levelling contracts run for long shifts. Fuel savings of 8–12% across the contract reduce project costs meaningfully.
Better All-Weather Performance
Winter maintenance graders working road snow clearing benefit from improved engine response at cold start and better power delivery through the full shift in demanding conditions.

Common Questions
Do you remap Cat motor graders?
Yes — Cat 12M, 120M, 140M, 160M, 24M, and the legacy M-series graders are all within scope. Cat C-series ACERT engines in graders respond well to ECU remapping.
Can you remap a motor grader used for winter maintenance?
Yes — local authority and highway maintenance graders are among the most common machines we remap. The combination of seasonal use, high idle time, and demanding shifts makes remapping particularly cost-effective.
How long does a motor grader remap take on site?
2–3 hours for a standard remap. We attend on site and schedule around the grading programme.
Can you fix DPF issues on a motor grader at the same visit?
Yes — motor graders doing a lot of light work or idling are prone to DPF issues. We address DPF faults at the same visit as the remap.
Do you cover Komatsu GD graders?
Yes — Komatsu GD555, GD655, GD675, GD705, GD825 and the full GD-series are within our capability.
