Bell ADTs use Mercedes-Benz OM906, OM926, and OM936 diesel engines, which are well-proven platforms that respond extremely well to ECU remapping.
The Mercedes-Benz engines in Bell ADTs are conservatively calibrated from the factory for global market durability and emission compliance. A Bell-specific remap calibrates the fuelling and torque delivery for UK quarry and earthmoving conditions — more torque on the loaded haul grade, better fuel economy on the flat haul, and measurably faster loaded cycle times.
