Can you remap machines when they come back between hires?
Yes — the service interval or the gap between hires is the ideal time. We can attend your depot and work through machines as they come in, fitting the programme around the hire schedule.
What happens to the remap if a machine is sold?
The remap remains in the ECU. The original factory calibration is backed up before the remap — we can restore this if needed. Some hire companies choose to sell remapped plant at face value and disclose the remap as a positive; others prefer to restore factory calibration before sale.
Can you remap machines under manufacturer warranty that we own?
For plant under manufacturer warranty, a remap may affect warranty claims. We advise clearly before proceeding. Most hire fleet plant is outside warranty — newly purchased machines are best remapped after the warranty period ends.
Do you offer hire company fleet pricing significantly below single-machine rates?
